The proposal for an environmental clearance has been submitted, It is likely to be elicited in Q3 2021, Still, the DPR preparation is ongoing, RFQ for the EPC contractor is likely to be released in May 2021.

The project is expected to submit a tender for an LSTK contractor in July 2023, with investigations already underway. The project received environmental approval in August 2018 for both the energy savings and the expansion. The energy savings will be operational in November 2022. Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (TKIS) has been providing services to MCFL for the past five years, and the old DAP plant was installed by TKIS. MCFL will almost certainly hire the TKIS for DAP expansion. The project is likely to be completed in 2025-26.
