Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited, a joint venture of NHPC Limited, JKSPDC and PTC India Limited, is carrying out the feasibility report activities for the 460 MW (4*115 MW) Dulhasti (Stage- II) Hydroelectric Power Station in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. Currently, tender for consultancy services for draft EIA report is out for which scrutiny is underway and survey and investigation work is going on at the site which would take nearly 30 months, including complete topographical survey, soil sampling test, water sampling and others. The owner will now come out with lot wise package including civil, hydro-mechanical and E&M packages.

Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited, a joint venture of NHPC Limited, JKSPDC, and PTC India Limited, is carrying out the feasibility report activities for the 260 MW (2*130 MW) Dulhasti (Stage- II) Hydroelectric Power Station in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. The EIA report has been prepared by EQMS PVT. LTD. including scrutiny and survey and investigation work, including a complete topographical survey and report hs approved by the MoEF. The detailed project report (DPR) was compiled and approved by the MoEF.SIA works completed and reports have been accepted by the MoEF. Forest clearance stage 2 has been granted by the DFO. A civil works contractor has been selected. Mobilization of equipment has been completed by the contractor HES Infra. Pvt. Ltd . Construction of the approach road has been completed. Excavation works are in the active phase of construction. The bifurcate tunnel of the HRT is yet to be started and the boring works of the main HRT have been completed, civil works are in progress. Excavation works are in progress for TRT. The preparation of the tender for the HM package is in progress and its specification finalization has been delayed. Further bids are expected soon. The major requirement will be three vertical Francis turbines, turbine-generator (alternator), station transformers, generator transformer, dumpers/loaders, excavators, TBM (tunnel boring machine), raise boring machine, unit auxiliary transformers (UAT), air compressor, oil circulation system, cooling water circulation system, digital governor, trash rack, main inlet valve (MIV), butterfly valve, non-return valve, radial gates, vertical lift gates, steel-lined penstock, EOT crane, transmission towers, power cables, monitor and monitor control unit, computerized control system, fireproofing system (Mulsifyer System, sprinkler system, etc), forced air circulation system (ID fans, blower, etc) among others.
