SIA works have been completed and it is under examination at Ministry of Tribal Affairs. WAPCOS also been selected as PMC. Preparation of the civil works package tender is yet to be started. WAPCOS has identified the project under the reassessment study of the Wah Umiam HEP, Stage-III (previously known as Mawphu HEP). The 57 MW greenfield project will be located downstream from Wah Umiam HEP, Stage III. The hydrology report was completed and it was approved by CWC. WAPCOS has prepared the pre-feasibility report for the same. Geotechnical investigation and topographical survey at the site were completed. The forest clearance stage 1 was granted and stage 2 is pending at the nodal office. Drilling and drifting works at the site are in progress.TOR for the same was granted by the MoEF.Construction of approach roads is in progress. M/S EQMS India Pvt.
