Which envisages the re-utilization of water from the Upper Kolab reservoir which is being released from the existing 320 MW Upper Kolab Hydroelectric Power Station. THDC Ltd. had prepared the PFR. Later, the owner changed its specification for the implementation of the same project. A fresh TOR was approved by MoEF. The revised PFR has been prepared by WAPCOS Ltd. and it has been approved by the MoEF. The upper reservoir is operational, with no requirement of additional land required for the upper reservoir and the land acquisition has been completed for the lower reservoir. The DPR consultant WAPCOS has prepared the DPR. EC of the project has been approved by MoEF. Private land acquisitions and public hearings have been completed.
