The EIA report has been prepared by EQMS PVT. LTD. including scrutiny and survey and investigation work, including a complete topographical survey and report has approved by the MoEF. The detailed project report (DPR) was compiled and approved by the MoEF. SIA works completed and reports have been accepted by the MoEF. Public hearing has been completed. Bid evaluation is in progress for the civil works package (lot-1)(2025_NHPC_862404_1) and MAX Infra. Patel Engineering, MEIL, Rithwik Projects are the major contenders in the technical bid. Bid submission date has been extended for the HM works package(2025_NHPC_871264_1) and the EM package (2025_NHPC_866662_1). Further bids are expected soon. The major requirement will be three vertical Francis turbines, turbine-generator (alternator), station transformers, generator transformer, dumpers/loaders, excavators, TBM (tunnel boring machine), raise boring machine, unit auxiliary transformers (UAT), air compressor, oil circulation system, cooling water circulation system, digital governor, trash rack, main inlet valve (MIV), butterfly valve, non-return valve, radial gates, vertical lift gates, steel-lined penstock, EOT crane, transmission towers, power cables, monitor and monitor control unit, computerized control system, fireproofing system (Mulsifyer System, sprinkler system, etc), forced air circulation system (ID fans, blower, etc) among others.
